This is a one-day course to familiarise staff with the importance of adequate nutrition and good presentation of food and liquids. The aim is to increase the staff's awareness of good practice regarding nutrition and recent changes in legislation surrounding nutrition and care of older people. It will highlight the importance of good hydration and help staff explore the specific needs of their service users who have medical conditions which impact on their nutritional needs
